How Nine Square in the Air Works
Nine players stand beneath a raised grid, with each player defending one square. Players hit the ball up and over the grid into another player's square while trying to keep it from dropping into their own.
When a player is eliminated, players rotate through the squares and another participant can enter the game. That continuous rotation makes Nine Square especially useful for youth groups, schools, camps and events where lots of people want a chance to participate.
